Lily Mayfield is a teaching artist living in Broadview, IL a near-west suburb of Chicago.  Mayfield was born in Florida and received her BFA degree in photography with a minor in art history from the University of Florida.  She completed an MFA degree in photography from Columbia College Chicago in 2007.  Mayfield is an adjunct professor of photography at Columbia College Chicago, College of Dupage and Dominican University.   Her work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions both locally and nationally.  She has curated and juried exhibitions for Northern Trust Bank and Woman Made Gallery.  Mayfield has received numerous awards and grants including the Columbia College Chicago Part Time Faculty Development Grant and the Society for Photographic Education (SPE) Adjunct Faculty Award.
